A place to pontificate

Or more aptly, “friends with websites” as there is no point linking to friends without eh! And no blog would be complete without a nod to your friends , so here are some of the people I know, mainly through my jobs.

A friend of mine since the world was created – nearly - Ads runs a pet shop in Tunbridge Wells (and another in Tonbridge) called Wolfit. I helped him set up the pet shop ecommerce site wolfit.co.uk using osCommerce but that was in 2007 and I think it’s due for an update. 

Dave Sawyer

Dave lives in Bath, England, is married to Keeley and with a baby to keep him awake, so much so he’s gone and got an office even though he does the affiliate stuff like wot I does. He also runs the very popular Politics Forum for his troubles.

Cathy Vaughan

I met Cathy years back while she was waitressing in one of my favourite haunts (sadly no more) in Tunbridge Wells, the Rusty Pelican. She’s one of life’s smiley people and so easy to get on with, but now she’s moved into photography and she has some wonderful nature photographs showcased in her nature photograher homepage. If you need a photographer, she comes highly recommended.

Lee Simmonds

Lee and his partner Angela have set set up a website on Organic Skincare – a very nice looking site aswell and with plenty of information. It has info on natural and organic skin care products and those not tested on animals! I’m a big supporter of that – one of humankind’s worst traits is the way we treat animals. I appreciate there’s a food chain but when it’s testing on animals for beauty products or harming them to produce luxury items or for entertainemnt, it really p****s me off.
